In the steel industry, the term «HSS» “Hollow Structural Sections” is a construction system based on hollow structural elements, in square  (SHS), rectangular (RHS) or circular (CHS) shapes.

HSS are cold formed steel pipes, used welded or riveted to construct buildings, bridges, and other structures and manufactured products. They are made in square, rectangular, and circular shapes.

HSS in many areas substitute structural ironworks, as they have more resistance than open profiles.

HSS offer the following advantages:

  • Versatility in design.
  • High resistance.
  • Better appearance, as well.
  • Dimensions

Weights, dimensions, and tolerances expressed here are theoretical, and may vary +/- 5%.
